The Meeting was organised by IGMNiR, CMA and MRF on 10 September 2026 at the Hilton Gdańsk. It was opened by Kazimierz Poznański, President & CEO of IGMNiR. Bogusław Ochab was named Honorary Member of IGMNiR, medals went to Murat Bayram, Wojciech Bogusz, Bernd Meyer and Ralf Schmitz, and diplomas to the Chamber’s new Members: StoneX, SGM Magnetics and ECOPORT.

320 participants from 170 companies and institutions in 15 countries — 139 of them from abroad — met in Gdańsk for the 25th edition of the Meeting. The programme featured honours and diplomas for new Chamber Members, seven presentations by partners and guests, B2B talks and a gala dinner at Brovarnia.

From the opening address — the non-ferrous scrap market
January–May 2026 vs January–May 2025. The EU remains a net exporter of non-ferrous scrap, but the surplus is shrinking: about 355,000 t against 444,000 t a year earlier.
