Analyses

The Chamber’s analyses measure what public statistics do not show directly: the value of the non-ferrous metals and recycling industry to the economy, the climate and security of supply. Each one rests on official data, a transparent model and an uncertainty band.

The Chamber’s standard for analyses

Official data first

Eurostat, Statistics Poland, Comext, PRODCOM and input–output tables; company reports only where statistics are missing.

Process physics

Every economic result is anchored in a metal mass balance – tonnes of scrap collected, remelted and refined.

Uncertainty in the open

Each central value comes with a 90% uncertainty band from Monte Carlo simulation.

Reproducibility

Code, input data and parameters are archived by the Chamber; sources are listed with a reliability class.
