Study visits: TOMRA and KAATSCH Recycling

The Economic Chamber of Non-Ferrous Metals and Recycling is organising two combined study visits for its Members: to the TOMRA Test Center in Mülheim-Kärlich and to the Kaatsch Recycling Gruppe plant near Stuttgart — a member company of the Chamber.
Programme at a glance
- 7 October — TOMRA, Mülheim-Kärlich: presentation of the TOMRA Sorting Group and a tour of the Competence and Test Center, where material is tested on waste and metal sorting systems.
- 8 October — KAATSCH Recycling, Plochingen: company presentation and a tour of the plant in the river port on the Neckar. The family-owned business has been operating since 1948.
- 8 October, evening: a joint visit of the participants to the 179th Cannstatter Volksfest in Stuttgart.

For companies from Poland, this is an opportunity to compare their own installations and processes with the solutions used by German partners — and to build contacts that go beyond a single visit. The programme also includes time for individual business meetings with the hosts.
The visits are intended for IGMNiR Members from across the non-ferrous metals sector: producers, processors, recycling and trading companies.
