P.P.H.U. STILMAR Michał Dobrzyński
P.P.H.U. STILMAR Michał Dobrzyński is a business based in Częstochowa (ul. gen. Józefa Hallera 6D), entered in the Polish Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG, NIP 5732497617) and operating since 2002. According to CEIDG, its principal activity is the wholesale of waste and scrap; the entry also covers the collection of non-hazardous waste, road freight transport and the rental of machinery and vehicles. The core of the business is the purchase and wholesale of non-ferrous metals and steel scrap; over time STILMAR also set up a metallurgical department supplying the steel and metals industry.
The company buys, sells and processes a wide range of non-ferrous metals and steel scrap, working with Polish and foreign partners and industrial plants; according to its website it cooperates with most Polish non-ferrous metals plants. The range covers production and end-of-life scrap: aluminium (6000-series profiles, 1000 series, thermal-break profiles, roller shutters, cans, 1000, 3000 and 6000-series turnings), aluminium-copper and aluminium-bronze scrap, steel, stainless and chrome steel scrap and spent batteries, as well as aluminium, zinc, bronze and brass dross. Its management system meets the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO/IEC 27001; the company also holds REACH registration decisions.
A distinctive part of the business is the purchase and processing of dross – waste from the processing of aluminium and its alloys that may contain metals, metal oxides and refining residues. STILMAR separates aluminium dross into coarse and fine fractions and directs it to reuse in industry rather than to landfill, where – as the company points out – it releases gases and causes salts to leach out. As an IGMNiR member, STILMAR represents non-ferrous scrap trading and dross processing, linking the collection of production and post-consumer waste with the supply of secondary raw materials to the metals industry.
