Dobrego Pasterza 122A), is a provider of electronic data interchange (EDI) and e-invoicing services, registered in the Polish National Court Register under KRS 0000040306. According to the register, its main business is other information technology and computer service activities. The majority shareholder (90.20%) is Editel Austria GmbH. The company belongs to the EDITEL Group, which has been developing EDI technology since the 1980s, employs more than 200 people and serves customers in over 30 countries; according to the group, nearly 100,000 companies use its eXite® platform, processing around 1 billion transactions a year.
The range covers full EDI integration, Web EDI for smaller trading partners, e-invoicing – including support for the Polish National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) and the Peppol network, in which EDITEL S.A. is a certified service provider (Peppol Access Point) – and eCMR electronic consignment notes. The solutions are aimed at, among others, the automotive industry, foreign trade, logistics, FMCG, DIY/HVAC, HoReCa, healthcare and public administration; for the automotive industry the company supports the VDA, ODETTE and EDIFACT standards and OFTP2 transmission in Just-In-Time processes. The company points out that digital exchange of orders, despatch advices and invoices reduces paper and energy consumption, while precise order data allow better transport planning and fewer empty runs and returns; it presents structured EDI data as a basis for ESG reporting under the CSRD.
