# Export of ‘green list’ waste to non-OECD countries

Table of the positions of non-OECD countries on imports of ‘green list’ waste (inter alia metal scrap): prohibition, procedure of notification and consent, or no control. Applies transitionally until replaced by the list under Art. 41 WSR.

## Key obligations

- export of waste listed in Annex III/IIIA to a non-OECD country is subject to the procedure indicated in the Annex for the given country and code (Art. 1)
- column (a) – prohibition of export; column (b) – prior written notification and consent (Annex, column headings)
- column (c) – no control in the country of destination, general information requirements apply; column (d) – national procedures (Annex)

## Penalties

export contrary to the regulation – illegal shipment; in PL fines under Art. 32 of the Act on international shipments of waste (MPO) (PLN 10,000–1,000,000)
